So I continue to eat my sides which were good waiting on her to come back or maybe the manager. When the waitress came back by I told her the meatloaf was lukewarm. Hubs ordered chicken fried steak and his was hot and good. Our waitress comes by and says (it’s 6pm) “I’ve been up since 9am and been here since 22. after us got got their drinks before our waitress came by. It took our waitress several minutes to come by, even tho they weren’t busy. We decided to give them a try since our usual place was closed due to the holiday. and, when paying, having to stand and wait and wait and wait for someone to show up to take our money, then she entered the wrong (lower) tip amount and could not change it, it was quite the experience the last time. I wouldn't want to wear a mask back there either, but if you're going to have one on (and/or you've been directed to wear one) and it doesn't cover your nose the entire time you are making/prepping food-and the other cook's mask was under her chin the entire time/each time she was back there-then just take it off. and our most recent visit had, unfortunately, a straight-shot view into the kitchen. the butter they send out for the great cornbread is still frozen, as it almost always is (thus unspreadable/unusable), but there've been more instances of part of our food not being up to temp, even parts being under or over cooked and not edible. but in the last few months, things seem to be declining. am certain things in the restaurant business are difficult and challenging these days. but some visits there have been, well, not so good.
